What is the difference between 88° and 87°?

88° is the standard angle for alpine skis and suits most skiers. 87° provides a more aggressive edge grip and is more commonly used by advanced skiers.

Do I need to remove the sidewall before sharpening?

Some skis have plastic material extending over the steel edge. This must be removed before the edge can be properly sharpened.

Can the diamond insert be replaced?
