The masur birch ( gnarly birch) handle fits comfortably in the hand and can withstand both sun and rain, while the genuine leather sheath holds the sharpener securely in place and allows it to be easily taken out when required.
The sharpener has both a fine and a coarse side of 600 or 300 grit (30 or 60 micron diamonds) or fine/superfine with 600/1200 (30/15 microns) depending on what variant you choose.
The handle is made of masur birch (gnarly birch) which covers 1.5 mm stainless steel and the genuine leather case is fitted with a belt-ring.
